If I was banned previously in BF3 if I bought back to kirkland would I now be able to play?

Actually its Karkand and no you need to use a non-banned initial version of BF3 to play and initiate the Karkand expansion pack. It's not out until the 13th anyways.

Karkand.

And no.

Karkand is only a BF3 Addon.
You would need a hole new Account.

Not really you can still use the Karkand you have with a new bf3 account so only thing lost is what you lost from hacking.
