About the game
Infestation: Survivor Stories is a zombie survival horror MMO. Based five years in the future following a horrendous viral outbreak of apocalyptic proportions that destroyed 95% of the world’s population, you must survive against all odds. Scavenge, defend yourself, band with others, or die in the process – your life is in your own hands.
This is NOT DayZ, nowhere close to DayZ. You may think its a copy of dayz but that's not true again.
Because DayZ is built on ArmA engine, the game play will be way more realistic than most of other sandbox games.
Warz(Infestation: Survivor Stories) is totally different. You cant compare the two, its like CoD vs. BF. Both has its cons, and pros.
WarZ is for people who likes to jump in and play some games without spending hours to get really into the game.
Way more arcade, more action, faster game pace, more fun/frustration.
Yes, the game has hackers, like any other game. But FairFight is picking up the fight and banning people with ease, they are even broadcasting it in the chat when someone gets banned.
In WarZ zombies will fuck you up if you do something wrong, for example if you sprint in a city, you can bet that at least 5 zombie will run after you. Just some examples what could mean your death with zombies on you, also:
-Giving your position out to enemies
-Forcing you to use your ammunition
-MOAR ZOMBIES RUNNING AT YOU.
The game is pretty cheap now, so you can grab it on steam for really good price.
The game requires lot of tactics, game play and decent gear.
Team play is the best weapon in this game, nothing beats it.
Tons of roles to pick up, such as sniper,looter,cqc,spotter,bait etc.
Useful info for new players/old players returning
Zombie numbers got increased, if you don't have a decent gear with good melee weapon, stay away from big cities/military bases such as Campos,Boulder,Norad.
Zombies are kinda broken, you cant really sneak between them so its better to take them out one by one.
When you agro one of them, just stop and let him come to you, with this method you wont agro multiple zombies (obviously if they are walking they might run to you, but you should have enough time to finish the first one off)
Zombies run faster than you walk by default, this means you cant outrun them without sprinting, but it makes too much noise, and 100% you will agro more zombies than you could handle (specially if you are on low HP)
Game is too dark during night time? Brightness to the max or NVG!
Golden rule: Nobody is friendly in this game, don't trust anybody only waspies. Everyone is bandit in a game, even a poorly geared player can kill you with a flashlight/hammer. KOS everyone on sight, don't ask just shoot.
Most of the towns/cities have :
-One Police Department: You can find melee weapons,Attachments,Guns,Ammo
-One Pharmacy: You can find vaccines, bandages,antibiotics,painkillers
-Sometimes Church: You can find backpacks,food,water,melee weapons,attachments,backpacks,guns
-One Small Supermarket: You can find backpacks,food,water
-One Bigger Supermarket: You can find mostly the same like in a small one, but increased chance on backpacks,better food/water drop rate, sometimes guns.
-One Fire station: You can find melee weapons,food/water.
Military bases have good chance of dropping military loot (Guns,Backpacks,Nightivison etc)
I'm not mentioning garbage drops such as Chem lights,Flares,Flare guns,Hats etc. You can find those nearly everywhere.
PvP
Most of the Player Versus Player action goes in Smallville,Clearview,Campos.
You can find people around Camp Splinter,Norad,Echo,Airport and other tiny towns/villages, military bases. But that three is the main location for PvP.

Sometimes you find big groups walking into cities to loot/pvp. You shouldn't target them because they will surely win by their overwhelming numbers. Plus they might have a sniper watching over them from a hill/rooftop... you never know.
Solo snipers are the best target. But since its easy, alot of people will go for him. Once he revealed his position, everyone will go for him, and his shiny sniper rifle.
