Question regarding Hardware Reset

So wondering what the feature of the hardware reset is...is it something i should reset daily? whats is main purpose. ive heard them talking about hardware bans on h1z1 so wondering will this fix it and what that main feature is for exactly and does it apply to me as a h1z1 user.

If you are banned by HWID in a game you can reset your HWID, I guess.
Not working for H1Z1 at the moment
