why did PB just say on bottom of my screen that it was taking a screenshot is this normal.

PB done a screenshot and the hack told you that pb took a screenshot ( clean or black on what option you chose ) . and if it was detected , you would make a thread '' omg, i got banned '' and not ''PunkBuster took a screenshot''
